Biographical Information[edit]

Dustin Crenshaw pitched in the independent leagues and the CPBL.

Crenshaw was 5-4 with a 2.17 ERA for the Sonoma County Grapes in 2012, and he also went 2-1 with a 4.43 ERA for the Les Capitales de Quebec. He stayed in Quebec in 2013, and he was 9-7 with a 4.35 ERA, walking only 13 in 109 2/3 IP. He was one win shy of Canadian-American Association leader Karl Gélinas. He pitched for the Canberra Cavalry in the 2013-2014 ABL, and he was 0-3 with a 3.04 ERA. Crenshaw jumped to the American Association in 2014, and he had a 9-8 record with a 3.16 ERA for the Gary SouthShore RailCats. He improved to 14-2 with a 2.43 ERA in 2015 for the St. Paul Saints, and he was 3rd in wins (tied with Ryan Zimmerman).

In 2016, Crenshaw went 8-2 with a 2.20 ERA for the Vaqueros Laguna, then he opt out and signed with the Uni-President Lions. He struggled as he was 5-6 with a 6.39 ERA, and he returned to Mexico. Crenshaw was 6-3 with a 4.38 ERA for Laguna, and he went 3-2 with a 3.40 ERA for the Tigres de Quintana Roo. He pitched for the Saints after the Mexican League’s season ended, and he went 2-2 with a 5.97 ERA. Crenshaw then had a 7-6 record with a 4.45 ERA for the Bravos de Leon in 2018, and he was 5-1 with a 2.72 ERA for the Leones de Yucatán in 2019. Crenshaw also started 13 games for the Saint, and he went 4-5 with a 4.96 ERA. He then recorded a 3.57 ERA in 5 starts for the Gigantes del Cibao in 2020, but he slumped to 1-2 with a 5.85 ERA in 2021.

Crenshaw’s repertoire included a fastball (peak 94.4 mph), curveball and slider.
