Biographical Information

The brother of minor leaguer L.J. Gagnier, pitcher Drew Gagnier was selected by the Oakland Athletics in the 14th round of the 2009 amateur draft. He did not sign and then was chosen by the Detroit Tigers in the 17th round of the 2010 amateur draft. He made his pro debut that summer with the Connecticut Tigers and went 1-0 with a 2.95 ERA in 19 games out of the bullpen. His final pro season was 2013.
