Biographical Information[edit]
Doris Neal was a third baseman and outfielder in the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League. She played for the Springfield Sallies in 1948, hitting .153/.241/.195 with 28 RBI and 23 stolen bases in 406 at-bats and for the Grand Rapids Chicks in 1949, hitting .079/.192/.090 with only 14 hits in 178 at-bats (she did walk 25 times and strikeout only 19 times, however). Overall, she hit .130/.226/.163 in 180 games, with 27 steals, 38 runs, 39 RBI and 72 walks. She fielded .898.
