Biographical Information

Don Lovell was selected by the Cleveland Indians in the 13th round of the 1985 amateur draft but never reached the majors. Don peaked in 1987, hitting 19 home runs for the AAA Buffalo Bisons while batting .292. The first baseman was not called up and his production declined badly in 1988-1989. Don won the Best Hitter Award in the 1984 Haarlem Baseball Week.
