Biographical Information[edit]

Don Eddy had good ERA's in the two seasons he pitched in the major leagues. With the Chicago White Sox in 1970, he had a 2.31 ERA in 7 games. With the Sox in 1971, he had a 2.38 ERA in 22 games. He was a bit wild, giving up 25 walks in 34 innings, but they didn't seem to hurt his ERA. He gave up only one unearned run.

He had a hit in his only major league at bat. On September 30, 1970 against the Milwaukee Brewers, he hit a double off Bill Parsons. Eddy pitched two scoreless innings in the game giving up a hit, 3 walks and striking out one. The White Sox won the game, 2-1.

He was traded in July of 1972 to the San Diego Padres but never played for that team.

He had a 3.60 ERA with the Duluth-Superior Dukes in 1968. With the Appleton Foxes in 1969, he had 18 wins and a 1.81 ERA. His minor league career was in 1966 and from 1968 to 1973.
