Biographical Information[edit]
Don Crow got into four games with the Los Angeles Dodgers in 1982, going 0-for-4 with three strikeouts while allowing 4 of 5 base runners to successfully steal. He was the catcher for Team USA in the 1978 Amateur World Series, hitting .242/.342/.333 as the lightest-hitting regular on the Silver Medal winners. Crow produced 12 runs in 9 games but had as many passed balls (3) and assists (3). Crow was at Washington State while Mike Kinnunen and Dave Edler were there; Edler was also from Yakima, WA. Crow was drafted in 1979 and worked his way up the Dodgers organization. In 1981, he was the regular catcher on the Albuquerque Dukes who went 94-38 and had numerous future major leaguers. While playing for Albuquerque again in 1982, he came up for a brief period with the Dodgers at midseason. As of 2005, he worked in real estate in South Carolina. Source.
