Dominican Republic women's national baseball team
The Dominican Republic women's national baseball team is a national team of the Dominican Republic and is controlled by the Federación Dominicana de Béisbol. It represents the nation in women's international competition. The team is a member of COPABE. They debuted at the 2018 Women's Baseball World Cup and did well, finishing 6th of 12 teams as the only newcomer to the event and beating former Silver Medal winner Australia. Melissa Rodriguez hit .391/.440/.522 while Windeily Ramirez had 6 runs and 5 RBI. Carla Minier (1-0, 1.62) and Lorena Medrano (2.15) led the staff.
