Biographical Information[edit]
Infielder Diego Madero began his professional career in 2012.
He hit .260/.289/.367 in 85 games for the Vaqueros Laguna of the Mexican League his first year, fielding .990 as their starting second baseman. In 2013, he batted .315/.352/.314 in 72 games for the same club, now becoming the starter at short. Back with Laguna in 2014, Madero hit .296/.355/.428 with 15 stolen bases in 112 games. His 28 doubles were 11th-most in the Mexican League and his 77 runs were second on his club (behind Christian Quintero). He returned to Laguna for 2015.
