Biographical Information

Christian Quintero played in the Mexican League from 1996 to 2016; he briefly played in the New York Yankees system in 1996, slashing .265/.329/.368 in 21 games. He played in the Mexican Pacific Winter League from 2005-06 to 2014-2015. Blessed with solid power and speed, he hit as many as 17 home runs in a season, and stole as many as 30 bases. In 2009, between his Mexican League and winter league stops, he hit .313 with 20 home runs, 118 RBI, 220 hits and 110 runs scored in 169 games. The year before, he had 213 hits, 115 runs scored and 42 doubles to complement a .357/.410/.514 slash line.
