Biographical Information

Dicky Gonzalez went 15-2 with a 2.11 ERA in 23 starts for the Yomiuri Giants in 2009. He was one win shy of Central League co-leaders Kazuki Yoshimi and Shohei Tateyama and won Best Nine honors at pitcher. He finished third in voting for the 2009 Central League Most Valuable Player Award behind teammates Alex Ramirez and Michihiro Ogasawara. In 2011, he posted a 1.80 ERA in 13 games.
