Biographical Information[edit]
Brother of Dave Pierson, Edmund Dana "Dick" Pierson came to the majors nine years after his brother. Both Piersons were born in Wilkes-Barre, PA and died in Newark, NJ. Dick played for the Newark Domestics in 1884-1885, as well as appearing in three games in the majors with the New York Metropolitans in 1885.
