Biographical Information[edit]
Although Dave Pierson played only one season in the new National League in 1876, he was the regular at two positions. He was the Cincinnati Reds' most utilized catcher and also the most utilized right fielder.
Pierson was the brother of Dick Pierson, who came up nine years later.
