Biographical Information[edit]
Dick Loftus was a backup outfielder for the 1924 and 1925 Brooklyn Robins. He was the fifth outfielder in 1924 and the fourth outfielder in 1925.
He was born and died in Concord, MA. He was the first major leaguer born there, and one of four (through 2007) - the most famous of which are the two Glavine brothers, Tom and Mike.
