Biographical Information[edit]

Pitcher Dewey Grey was born in Philadelphia but grew up in Barnsboro, New Jersey, and graduated from Pitman High School in 1949. He played for the Appleton Papermakers of the Wisconsin State League in 1950, going 6-14 with a 6.28 ERA in 32 games. He tied for second in the WSL in losses. He later served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.
