Derrick Ross has been a scout.
Ross was All-Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference in 1995. He scouted for the Detroit Tigers (1998-2004) and Cleveland Indians from 2004-2012, working his way up to regional supervisor for the Indians. He signed Jeff Frazier, Josh Judy and Zach Putnam. In September 2012, he became director of baseball operations for the University of Michigan.
