Biographical Information[edit]

Dennis Noonan was the trainer for the 1990 Kinston Indians. While with the KTribe, he also served as the trainer for the Southern Division all-stars in the 1990 Carolina League All-Star Game.

Noonan earned a bachelor's degree in physical education from Ball State University and an associate degree in athletic training from Becker Junior College. He was an athletic trainer at Morristown (NJ) High School for five years. Dennis also was the trainer for the Fairleigh Dickinson University football team.

Following his season in Kinston, Noonan has worked in a wide variety of training situations including with the New York Power women's soccer team, marathon runners, Olympic fencers, professional tennis players, the Merchant Marine Academy, the US Figure Skating Association, rugby tournament players, and various schools in New York City.

Noonan created the Orthopedic Massage Program at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York in 2004. In 2007, he earned OSHA certification as an Ergonomics Assessment Specialist.
