Biographical Information[edit]
Delio Amado León was an announcer for the Leones del Caracas for almost 40 years, noted for his enthusiastic home run call (“jooooonron!”). He was part of the fourth class of the Salón de la Fama in 2007, joining Manny Trillo, Yo-Yo Davalillo and Manuel García.
