Biographical Information[edit]
David Carter pitched in the minors and became a college coach.
Carter appeared in the 1986 NJCAA Baseball World Series. He played professionally for the Gate City Pioneers (2-2, 6.15 in 26 G) and Erie Sailors (5-4, Sv, 5.17). He then coached at Southern Utah University (1994), the College of Southern Idaho (1995-1996), College of Eastern Utah (1997-1999), Utah Valley University (2000-2003), College of Southern Idaho (2004-2008) and Utah Valley University (2009-2020). He was interim head coach of Utah Valley in 2021.
