Dave Seifert

David Seifert has been a college coach and a scout.

Seifert was the Oakland Athletics Assistant Scouting Director from 1996-1998, the drafts in which they picked Tim Hudson, Eric Chavez and Mark Mulder. He was pitching coach of Northern Illinois University in 2000 and coached Parkland College from 2001-2004, going 145-42 as head coach while leading them to a Division II title in 2002. He then was assistant at the University of Evansville in 2006 and the head coach in 2007-2008, winning 35 games the first year. He then became a Philadelphia Phillies scout, signing Cody Asche, Cody Forsythe, Mike Nesseth and Darin Ruf. Currently, he is the Phillies Central Regional cross-checker.
