Biographical Information[edit]

Minor leaguer Daryl Clark was taken by the Milwaukee Brewers in the 17th round of the 2000 amateur draft, one pick ahead of catcher Mike Napoli.

He started his professional career with a bang, hitting .339/.495/.638 with 15 home runs, 64 RBI and 67 walks in 64 games for the Ogden Raptors. He followed that with a depressed slash line (.283/.364/.465), though he hit 21 home runs with 92 RBI for the Beloit Snappers in 2001. Though he hit 19 home runs with 78 RBI in 2002, his batting average fell to .244; he added 16 more home runs and 52 RBI in 2003. He bounced around three systems in 2004 and struggled to a .220 batting average.

Overall, Clark batted .271/.383/.473 with 75 home runs, 323 RBI and 302 walks in 491 games.
