Biographical Information[edit]
Daniel Shimura has been a player for the Peruvian national team. He was named the top center fielder in the 2011 South American Championship (though he is listed as playing for Brazil in the award listings, he was on the Peruvian team, not Brazil). He helped Peru to a Bronze in the 2012 South American Championship. He was 1 for 17 with two walks, two steals in three tries and three runs while fielding .818 as a 2B-CF for Peru in the 2013 Bolivarian Games; all three runs came in their opening win over Bolivia. Only Susumu Yoza scored more runs for Peru.
