Biographical Information[edit]

Daniel Rahn has pitched in Germany's Bundesliga.

Rahn pitched for Germany in the 2007 European Junior Championship, starting and losing a 3-1 game against Russia and Nikolay Lobanov. He allowed 3 walks, 3 hits and two runs in 2 1/3 IP. He debuted in the Bundesliga-1 that year with the Paderborn Untouchables, walking four and allowing two runs in 2 1/3 IP. The next year, he was 1-1 with a 1.59 ERA. He allowed 3 runs in 3 2/3 innings in the playoffs. During 2009, he had a 2-1, 1.96 record with 14 walks in 18 2/3 IP. He struggled in the postseason again, with 3 runs in 1 1/3 IP. In 2010, he had a rough year, walking six and allowing six runs in 1 2/3 IP. With the 2011 Untouchables, the reliever rebounded, going 1-0 with a 2.50 ERA. He had his best playoff run yet (1 R in 6 2/3 IP).

In 2012, Daniel went 2-0 with two saves and a 3.55 ERA for Paderborn. He had a win, a save and a 4.63 ERA in the playoffs. He was 0-1 with a 5.79 ERA and four walks in 4 2/3 IP in the 2012 European Cup, losing to T&A San Marino. He also struggled against Corendon Kinheim in the 2013 European Cup, giving up six hits and three runs in 3 2/3 IP.
