Biographical Information[edit]

Daniel Parker was a sixteenth-round pick in the 1999 amateur draft out of Diablo Valley College. Signed by the Houston Astros, Parker spent time with the Martinsville Astros and Auburn Doubledays. Parker then played Independent Leagues baseball from 2001-2002 with the Chico Outlaws and Sonoma County Crushers

In 2018, the Martinez Clippers of the Pacific Association announced that Dan Parker would take over the baseball operations for the struggling club, who were 7-30 at that point. Impressively, Parker went 22-21 with the Clippers to make their overall record 29-51
