Biographical Information[edit]
Daniel Jun Zhi Tam has played regularly for the Singaporean national team.
He was 1 for 10 with a walk and a run in the 2018 East Asian Baseball Cup, fielding .889, and was Singapore's main backstop. [1] He was on their team in the 2019 Southeast Asian Games. [2] In Singapore's first baseball appearance in the Asian Games, the 2022 Asian Games, he pinch-hit for Hae Seong Jeremy Chua against Laos in their opener. He struck out against Hue Thor then drew a walk from Soulapixa Khounchaleun before grounding out. The next game, he was 0 for 2 against Thailand's Siraphop Nadee. He handled 13 chances error-free but allowed six steals in six tries. [3]
Off the diamond, he is a physical education teacher. [4]
