Biographical Information[edit]

Pitcher Dallas Beeler was drafted by the Chicago Cubs in the 41st round of the 2010 amateur draft. He was signed by scout Ty Nichols and made his pro debut that summer. In parts of two big league seasons (5 starts for the Cubs), Dallas posted a 6.05 ERA, 1.97 WHIP and a 14/13 BB/K ratio in 19 1/3 innings. His brother, Chase, was an offensive lineman who spent time in the NFL with the practice squads of the San Francisco 49ers, Philadelphia Eagles and St. Louis Rams.
