Biographical information

Infielder Corey Erickson played a decade of minor league ball. He was selected by the New York Mets in the fourth round of the 1995 amateur draft and briefly reached the AAA level in the Cleveland Indians chain in 2001.

Erickson is the great nephew of big leaguer Don Erickson and nephew of Roger Erickson. His father, Bob Erickson, and his brother, Casey Erickson, also played in the minors.

Erickson is currently a baseball instructor in Springfield, Illinois.
