Biographical Information[edit]

Relief pitcher Corbin Hoffner began his professional career in 2012.

He was taken by the Chicago Cubs in the 14th round of the 2012 amateur draft and was signed by scout John Koronka. With the AZL Cubs that year, he posted a 0.71 ERA in 12 2/3 innings. He followed that with a 2-0 record and a 1.74 ERA in 46 2/3 innings for the Boise Hawks in 2013. Between Boise and the Kane County Cougars in 2014, Hoffner was 3-3 with a 5.12 ERA in 22 games.
