Biographical Information[edit]

Colin Walsh began his career in the St. Louis Cardinals system but, despite showing some pop (16 home runs in 2012), and speed (14 steals in 2013), and a perpetually good eye (his lowest on-base percentage was .356), he was released in 2014 and signed by the Oakland Athletics. The Milwaukee Brewers claimed him in the 2015 Rule V Draft, and it is with the Brewers he made his debut in 2016. In his first at-bat, against Josh Osich of the San Francisco Giants on April 4th, he lined out to short. However, he hit only .085 in 38 games, with a double his only extra-base hit, and his major league career was over by the end of May.
