Biographical Information[edit]
Cody Aden began working at Driveline Baseball in 2015 as a trainer & gym manager and stayed in this joint role through 2017. He spent the summers of these years also working as the pitching coach for the Seattle Studs, a long-time amateur baseball team in the Pacific Northwest. His father, Barry Aden was the Stud's manager for many seasons.
In 2018. the Texas Rangers hired Aden as a pitching R&D development coach. The next year the Rangers appointed Aden to serve as the pitching coach for the Spokane Indians in their minor league system. At some point in 2020 or 2021, Aden joined the Milwaukee Brewers as a MiLB pitching advisor. He was pitching coach of the ACL Brewers Gold in 2021.
Aden left professional baseball in 2022 and signed up with the Green River Community College Gators as their Director of Pitching. This proved to be a short-term job as the college ceased playing baseball sometime in that year. Aden then joined New Level as their Pitching Director & Facility Manager where he remained through 2024.
