Cobby Flórez

Julio Isidro Flórez

Cobby Flórez was an infielder for the Colombian national team in the 1944 Amateur World Series. He was on the Colombian squad that won Gold in the 1946 Central American and Caribbean Games, their first Gold in any event. He then was with them when they won the 1947 Amateur World Series for their first world title. He later coached for them when they won their second, the 1965 Amateur World Series. His brother Andrés Flórez was his teammate on the 1944-1947 teams.
