Cleo Petty

Biographical Information[edit]

Cleo Petty was a college coach.

Petty was an All-Conference basketball player in college. He worked for the Utah Highway Patrol then coached high school basketball. He coached baseball at Branch Agricultural College/College of Southern Utah from 1952-1979, except 1959 when he took a 1-year sabbatical [1] and also coached basketball and taught physical education there. Petty was head coach at Utah State University in 1959.

Off the diamond, he was a piano player.
