Biographical Information[edit]
Clem Llewellyn pitched a scoreless inning for the New York Yankees on June 18, 1922. He had been at the University of North Carolina in the period 1917-1922.
He pitched in the minors through 1925, going 15-10 for the Greenville Spinners in 1924. He was president of the North Carolina State League from 1939-1946.
Through 2019, no other major leaguer has had the last name Llewellyn, although Dennis Lewallyn comes close.
