Biographical Information

Chun-Tai Wang played in the CPBL for 2 years.

Wang represented Taiwan in the 2004 World Junior Championship and 2007 World Port Tournament. The Brother Elephants took him in the third round of the 2007 CPBL Draft, and he hit .270/.309/.438 in the minors in 2008. Wang only got 2 at-bats with the big club in 2008, and he hit .179/.237/.226 in 57 games in 2009. However, he was involved into a game-fixing scandal after the 2009 season, and he was banned for life.

Overall, Wang had hit .176/.239/.222 with 19 hits in 2 seasons in the CPBL.
