Biographical Information

Chris Whitehead played in the Boston Red Sox minor league system from 1988 to 1990. He was taken in the 22nd round of the 1988 amateur draft, one pick ahead of first baseman Dave Staton.

He hit .230/.342/.339 with 20 home runs and 81 RBI in 307 games in his career.

He died in July 1991 at the age of 24.
