Biographical Information[edit]

Chris Guccione is an umpire. He started in Organized Baseball in 1995 and worked in the Pioneer League, Midwest League, California League and Texas League. He made it to the Pacific Coast League in 2000 and also became a major league umpire that year. However, he had to work 1,255 games as a fill-in umpire, before finally being added permanently to the major league staff in 2009. He worked the 2016 World Series.

He has worked the 2006 World Baseball Classic, the 2011 All-Star Game, the 2013 World Baseball Classic and 2023 World Baseball Classic.
