Biographical Information[edit]

Chris Codiroli was a workhorse in his two finest seasons, exceeding 200 innings while finishing .500 (record-wise) with identical 4.46 ERAs. Chucking for the Oakland Athletics, Chris was 12-12 in 205 2/3 innings in 1983 and 14-14 in an American League-leading 37 starts (and 226 innings) in 1985. In no other season did he exceed the 100 innings mark, fading fast beginning in 1986 while posting ERAs in excess of 8 with three teams in his final three big league looks. Chris' nephew, Jason, was drafted in 2008. His brother, Michael, played professionally as well.
