Biographical Information

The son of big league catcher Chris Cannizzaro, second baseman Chris Cannizzaro Jr. was selected by the Boston Red Sox in the ninth round of the 1983 amateur draft. He played several seasons in the minors, including four at AAA, but never reached the major leagues.
