Biographical Information

Pitcher Chris Anderson was selected by the Chicago Cubs in the 35th round of the 2010 amateur draft but did not sign, opting to attend Jacksonville University instead. He was then taken by the Los Angeles Dodgers and scout Scott Hennessey in the first round of the 2013 amateur draft and soon signed for a bonus of more than $2.1 million. He made his pro debut with the Great Lakes Loons on June 25th, throwing two scoreless innings against the South Bend Silver Hawks.
