Biographical Information[edit]
Ching-Wen Huang played in the the CPBL for 5 years.
Huang was signed by the Wei Chuan Dragons when they were founded in 1990, and he hit .181/.234/.302 in 55 games in his first year. He had a .230/.273/.295 batting line in 1991, and he went 0-for-4 in the 1991 Taiwan Series; the Dragons lost to the Uni-President Lions in 7 games. Huang improved to .295/.328/.328 in 1992, but his batting line fell to .235/.289/.303 in 1993. He was 2-for-23 in 1994, then he announced his retirement.
Overall, Huang had hit .219/.270/.295 with 86 hits in 5 seasons in the CPBL.
