Biographical Information[edit]

Chih-Chang Hsu pitched in the CPBL for 4 years.

Hsu was drafted by the First Financial Holdings Agan in the second round of the 2003 CPBL Draft, but he underwent Tommy John surgery and missed his first two seasons. He had a 7.00 ERA in 12 appearances in 2006, and his ERA was 5.33 in 17 games in 2007. Hsu only pitched 7 games with a 7.88 ERA in 2008, and the league banned him for life because of his involvement in a game-fixing scandal.

Hsu's repertoire included a fastball (peak 90.7 mph), sinker, changeup, curveball and slider.

Overall, Hsu was 0-0 with a 6.28 ERA, pitched 53 innings and struck out 26 in 4 seasons in the CPBL.
