Excelsiors of Chicago

The Excelsiors of Chicago were a Pre-MLB club that played in the National Association of Base Ball Players for ten years from 1858 to 1868. They played their home games at two different ballparks in Chicago, IL called the Excelsior Grounds. The first one was located at the corner of Lake and May streets and the second one was located at the corner of State and 22nd. Joe Simmons played for them at one point.
