Biographical Information[edit]
Simeon Farwell played for the Chicago Excelsiors of the National Association of Base Ball Players in the 1850s. His parents were originally from Massachusetts. It is unknown exactly why he moved to Chicago and when exactly he became involved with baseball, though his original Victorian house in Campbell, NY was preserved and still stands to this day.
