Biographical Information

Chia-Wei Lin played in the CPBL for 4 years.

Lin was drafted by the Brother Elephants in the 2nd round of the 2006 CPBL Draft, and he hit .259/.295/.379 in the minor league in 2007. He made his CPBL debut in 2009, and his batting line was .280/.308/.280 in 16 games. However, Lin slumped to .119/.213/.143 in 2010, and he only got 23 more at-bats with the big club until he announced his retirement in 2012. He was the battery coach for the Brothers from 2013 to 2014.

Overall, Lin had hit .156/.216/.167 with 14 hits in 4 seasons in the CPBL.
