Biographical Information

Chi-Hsun Hsieh played in the CPBL for 4 years.

Hsieh was drafted by the China Times Eagles in the first round of the 1993 CPBL Draft, and he hit .150/.190/.163 in his rookie year. He improved to .291/.351/.349 in 1994, but his batting line fell to .230/.277/.328 in 1995. After hitting .260/.280/.315 in 33 games in 1996, Hsieh was involved in a game-fixing scandal and he was banned for life.

Overall, Hsieh had hit .233/.277/.287 with 70 hits in 4 seasons in the CPBL.
