Biographical Information

Chi-Chang Chiu played in the CPBL for 4 years.

Chiu represented Taiwan in the 1990 Haarlemse Honkbalweek. The Brother Elephants signed him in 1996, and he hit .231/.245/.288 in 24 games in his rookie year. He recorded a .231/.271/.298 batting line in 1997, but he slumped to .190/.262/.254 in 1998. After hitting .237/.293/.301 in 1999, Chiu suffered from a severe shoulder injury and missed the entire 2000 season. Thus, he announced his retirement in 2000.

Overall, Chiu had hit .222/.274/.286 with 105 hits in 4 seasons in the CPBL.
