Biographical Information

Chen-Yu Tsai played in the CPBL.

Tsai was drafted by the Rakuten Monkeys in the 9th round of the 2020 CPBL Draft, and he hit .238/.369/.295 in 60 games in the CPBL minor league in 2021; he was 2-for-13 with the big club. Tsai hit .317/.451/.366 in 34 games with the big club in 2022, but he was placed in the minors again in 2023 as he only played 6 games in the major league.
