Biographical Information[edit]
Charlie Enwright was part of the vaunted 1907 St. Mary's College of California team, which may have been the top collegiate team in the country, with five future major leaguers. Enwright was one of them, as was Harry Hooper, and Hal Chase was their coach.
Enwright also played independent ball for Sacramento - Hooper, the same age, was on the team in 1908.
After baseball, he worked for the firm of Miller & Enright, and was a member of the Sacramento Civil Service Commission [1]. He died of blood poisoning [2].
