Biographical Information[edit]

Chad Oxendine played in the minors then became a college coach.

Oxendine was All-Big South Conference second team as a senior, hitting .281 for his collegiate career. He was 2 for 16 with a walk, two runs and three RBI for the 2004 Bristol White Sox, as one of the backups to Francisco Hernández. He also managed the Front Royal Cardinals in 2005. He then was assistant coach at UNC Wilmington (2006), University of Alabama (2007) and University of Richmond (2008-2010). He was hitting coach for the 2011 Myrtle Beach Pelicans then returned to college as assistant at Coastal Carolina in 2012.

He was assistant at Longwood University from 2015-2017, then returned to Coastal Carolina from 2018-2021 as director of operations, then director of player development. He became head coach at Longwood for '22, going 66-93 in three seasons.
