Biographical Information[edit]

Cedric Fournier was on the French national team in the 1995 European Championship. He debuted against Ukraine, getting the win against Oleg Venger with six innings of work (5 H, 4 BB, 3 K, 4 R, 2 ER); Jean David Cazanobes closed out the game. He also started against Samo Perko and Slovenia. He went three innings, allowing four hits, two walks and one unearned run while fanning three before Etienne Coste relieved with a 19-1 lead. He finished second on France in ERA behind Guillaume Coste. He was 7th in the event in ERA, between Magnus Höglund and Erik Lommerde. [1] His career in France was over by 2000.
