Biographical Information[edit]

Cecil Downs served as the manager of the West Palm Beach Indians for part of the 1940 season, being replaced by Joe Murff. He also owned the team for a while. He is also listed as playing briefly in the 1920s.

He later ran the "Baseball College of America" in Florida.
